On Tuesday October 21, 2008,
Running Quail Ranch was the
winner of the Agribusiness
Category at the Annual Fresno
County Salute to Small Business
Awards competition held in the Grand Occasions Banquet facility
in Fresno. This competition
recognizes small business
leaders who have made important
contributions to the community and
the economy.
Grower Dick Hansen received the
award on behalf of Running Quail
Ranch and thanked many of those
that helped make the company the
success that it is.
Running Quail Ranch was
acknowledged for its innovative
business model, including it's
usage of the internet to market
its raisins direct to the
consumer. Mr. Hansen was
recognized by Union Bank for his
many years of experience and
leadership in the Central
California raisin industry.
